****I am currently seeing a dr. for my Lyme.
Saw a Rheumatologist back in February advised by an Infectious Disease dr.
I had a ton of labs done by each and the only thing abnormal were my WBC/platelets and a small amount of ketones in urine.
A myotisis panel was done as well and was pending.
The Rheumatologist's office called stating they needed to see me regarding abnormal labs.
I am assuming the myotisis panel came back abnormal.
I did not care for this dr. as she told me I had none of the classic symptoms of Lyme.
No swollen joints, no rash and no recollection of a tick bite, therefore, in her eyes no Lyme for me.
I would prefer not to blow my $40 copay on this dr. who doesn't think I have Lyme, but to take these results to a decent Rheumatologist in Northern Virginia or even near Richmond as I live in between those areas.
If anyone can recommend one that takes insurance that may be able to help I'd greatly appreciate it.

I must thank one of you who sent an extensive listing of drs.
I was looking for a Rhuematologist, but came upon a dr. in Lexington, VA who treats Lyme and takes my insurance.
I am thrilled and have made an upcoming appt.
I was not very satisfied with the current treatment received with my current dr. treating me for Lyme, but the dr. was the only one I could find who took my insurance.
I do hope this dr. works out.
It will be a three hour drive one way, the other dr. was almost 2 hrs.
