This center has been around for years and has been one of those on the forefront of alternative medicine. I'm not up on the latest but in the past I know he was lyme savvy and if it was suspected he referred patients to LLMD's for help.

If they do treat lyme now, I would ask a lot of questions about methods of treatment, if he belongs to ILADS and follows Dr. B's guidelines. In any event, the center can be part of your treatment plan as you will never get a handle on this illness without an integrative approach. ABX alone will never make you well.

Lymetoo and Abx, no I don't want to go there for Lyme but for nutritional support etc......I already see a highly respected llmd but I think I need to also see someone who is experienced with natural/alternative support methods

I heard that they have experience with the iodine protocol as per Dr. Brownstein and Dr. Flechas......I want to see if my thyroid issues could be improved through iodine supplementation.....I'm too afraid to do it on my own.

Just wondering if anyone from the lymenet community has any personal experience with this center.

Thanks so much for your help!

I can tell you that the center has been practicing alternative medicine for a very long time and the Dr. has a good reputation. I have never seen him personally but I would say your thinking is wise and if the center is convenient for you to get to that it probably would be a good choice.

As I said, I know several people that he referred to LLMD's recognizing that they had Lyme and that it was not his field of expertise. I think that speaks to his awareness and staying on top of medical issues.
