Just wondering how I can find out about my llmd other than word of mouth? I know there is a website for this kind of thing, maybe someone out there knows the site address and the procedures to do so.

Yes, its tough sometimes. But if a Lymie youv'e had contact with , who seems sincere about recommendation for a doc, that is a very good indication. Even better, of course, are multiple recommendations. Any time you have an information channel like a website, unless you have a paricularly good feeling about the "channel", (for example, lymenet) you have to be careful, Sometimes such a site might even lead you on, when in fact it's at best a diversion, at worst a pernicious source of mis-information. (Sorry my clarity is a bit fogged- I nedd to take a nap! Have a good night.! )

You have to remember that you will not be a good fit for every physician, nor will they be a good fit for you.Think about whether you prefer traditional alternative or integrated modalities, and which type fits you best.
Be sure to think about the office staff-are they responsive and is the office well organized. Are you leaving every appt. with instructions on what to do, if you call with questions, will your call be answered?
Also-and this is so key-do you have a good relationship with your PCP, and are there any physicians thta the PCP would recommend?
Your PCP plays a leading role in your care-they need to have a good relationship with your LLMD. You do not want to get caught in a battle between and LLMD and a PCP who is not supportive of YOUR illness, or a PCP and/or LLMD who are not a good fit for one another.
