I am seeking a LLMD for myself. I started feeling the symptoms of Lyme around 1998. I was told that I had everything from asthma to depression.
In fact I was even told my problems would go away if I just lost weight.
In 2006 I changed insurance plans and had to find a new primary care doctor. I was lucky to find a doctor who wanted to test me for Lyme.
Both tests were positive. I have been on antibios ever since. The pain and mental symptons are not better and now I am having chest tighness and trouble breathin.
I am not sure where to go from here. Maybe a second opinion on my treatment options would help.

Please consider joining your own state group in the LymeDisease.org network. Many groups are sizable enough to offer quite a bit of help. Go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme to find how to find your group.
