Is anyone out there a current patient of his?
I would like to visit with him for a consult; I'm particularly interested in him because of my understood awareness that he places a premium on treating neurotoxins and inflammation.
I understand that he only takes local patients....is this true? Is there a very long waiting list, if one at all?
Much appreciated.... :-)

Maryland has a few Dr. S.'s.
If you are talking about the one who wrote a book on lyme, he does not take out of state patients. He wants the patient to be able to come into the office quickly if need be. So, he won't treat from afar.
Also, many people in Maryland would love to get in with him but can't. He doesn't maintain a waiting list. His experience with that was that it was a waste of time. So, it is a matter of calling at the right time (when he happens to have an opening) to get in. Very, very few get in with him.
He got rid of lyme, babs, and bart for me. That was almost 7 years ago now.
If you are talking about the one who specializes in neurotoxins and has the visual contrast test on the Internet, he is not considered a lyme doctor.
You can pm me for more info.
