I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease about 3 years ago. May 2009 I took a 30 day round of Doxy. I had to drop out of nursing school and have been unable to work since then. The best infectious dx doctor here told me there is nothing else they can do. According to him the Doxy kills the bacteria and it may take months or years for the symptoms to go away. Well here I am almost 3 years later and worse off than I was before. And on top of all the pain, exhaustion, nausea, headaches, swelling and stiffness in my joints, dizziness, trouble moving my legs and arms, forgetfullness, and on and on, I now have small vessels in my stomach that are bleeding for no apparent reason. I have got to have some help with this. Can you guys please give me so advise on where to go and what to do?? Thank you so much for any help!!!!

You need to see a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD) a.s.a.p.
You might want to click on "Support Groups" in the upper left-hand corner of the Lymenet page, then "MS". Contact information will come up. Maybe they can help you.
BTW - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems. Thanks.
