I believe my son has pediatric gastrointestional Lyme and want to find a good LLMD to treat him. I know Dr. J is supposed to be the best for kids, but are there others that are good?

Nearest one (and the only one) is in CT.

Since we don't usually post doctors names, it is important that you give your email address so you'll get replies.

There is one doctor who does not mind if we use his name. Info below:
Dr. Charles Ray Jones (203) 772-1123
111 Park Street
New Haven, CT

In case there are other doctors...post you email and you may get more responses!

Good luck! Dr. Jones is an absolute saint.
He has helped SO many kids, is so caring, and he sees kids with lyme from all over the world!

there is a naturopathic/holistic plus he does treat with abx one who is very good in Washington dc - or one who is in PA - I believe Colmar - she trained with Dr. B.

My kids saw her a few times, she is very good.

We never saw Dr. Jones though have heard rave reviews.

Please do put up your email address so you can get more responses.

Check your email. I sent a LLMD name/phone number/website in DC. Not sure, though, if they treat children but it's easy enough to find out.

Good luck, we are in Maryland and couldn't find anyone who would treat a child. We ended up going to CT, to see Dr. J. It is well worth it. I hope you find someone,as knowledgable, closer.

Thanks everyone for your helpful information. I have an appointment with a Dr. G. in Washington, DC who treats children for next week. I see another Dr. at that same practice for my Lyme and have been very pleased. If that doesn't work out, I'll try to get in with Dr. J. in CT.
