Hi all, I have a friend who is having scary heart issues due to Lyme. She really needs help finding a Lyme literate cardiologist. Preferably in central CT but at this point she just needs help.

Thank you for all you do!

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Connecticutlyme

Maybe they can help.

These Lyme organizations give doctor referrals (don't know about LL cardiologists):

I assume your friend's LLMD has not helped with a referral? Other area LLMD's office staff may have some suggstions.

Or maybe they don't yet have a LLMD and want to just start with a cardiologist? If so, though -- really, starting with a LLMD is the best way to begin.

MAGNESIUM is the number one helper for heart rhymthm irregularities that are common with lyme. Detail here:

Thanks everyone! She does have an llmd but he's not very good with the heart stuff.

She will be contacting his office tomorrow to try and get a referral.

Unfortunately they are out of the office a lot so I'm not sure she will get ahold of him before the weekend.

The regular docs at the hospital are aweful around here and lyme is a dirty word to them [Frown]

I'm a member of the ct lyme yahoo group and have put out the need there as well.

It looks like we need some more specialists in our corner!

I will pass along the links too. Thank you Keebler.

Take care everyone,

Rhapsody
