Hi Everyone! glad you are here! I have Lyme Disease and am trying to find a lyme literate doctor to work with me here in MA. I had the bullseye rash last month had horrible symptoms 3 days later--terrible neck gripping tension pain, swollen glands, migraines (especially forehead, and sinus area), deep sighing with breath, brain fog, word finding probs, fatigue... and memory issues, visual disturbance, felt hot but no fever, depression/saddness. It came on fast and furious like an invader wrapping around my brain stem getting tighter and tighter. My PCP wanted to wait for symptoms before giving me antibiotics--Finally got on doxy and had an immediate good lessening of symptoms, but now after 36 days on doxy-still having symptoms mostly headache and neck stiffness/fatigue. Working with a Naturpath who believes I have a co infection but we don't know which one. I need a LLMD! Have a list you can share? Thank you so much--I am getting panicky and scard I look forward to your reply to my email address!!

How long did you wait before getting on antibiotics? You may want to ask for 200mg of doxy twice a day. That will help. Get more meds at all costs. Be sure not to take the doxy in the middle of a full meal and do not lie down for 30-60 min or your esophagus could burn. I sent you info for MA... if there are other states you would consider, I have the info. Welcome! sorry you had to find us! -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
