I am looking for info on any LLMD near Georgia. I can only make a day trip and have no money for plane tickets, so I'm very limited.

Send any and all info to the e-mail address.

I am getting desperate.

Thanks

I know there's LLMD's in North Carolina, and Florida.
Someone will be along shortly to give you their contact info. Good luck and keep us posted.

I e-mailed info about the LLMD in NC.

Shouldn't be a bad drive from where you are -
I-85 to I-77.

I am asking around on your behalf in case there is nomebody closer that we may not be aware of.

Surely there are more than that for such a common disease... If not medicine in this country is in a very sad state.

Threefries...

I Upped a few old threads concerning LLMD's reported to be around the Atlanta area... just in case they jog anyone's memory with something useful.

The LLMD we go to gave us info on 2 more LLMD's, one in Tampa and another in South Carolina. She does not know the one in SC personally, but he is an ILADS member... good sign.

Email on the way shortly. Hope this helps!

Hi there 3fries,

Just wanted to let you know that I live 100 miles south of Atlanta near Phenix City AL and travel to Dr. J in NC.

I see a nurse practitioner there and am really pleased with my treatment to date.

Am on my 6th month of orals and have improved. Have had lyme for at least 10 years if not longer.

Will try to check this board more often to see if I can be of any help.

ThreeFries...I just got back yesterday from my 1st visit to the NC group (4hrs from ATL and WELL worth it) I did it in a day trip. I am SOOOOOOO happy I decided to go to them. I decided not to wait for Dr. J (1 month more than the others available)...and feel just as confident with her as I would have w/Dr.J.
