I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC and am searching for an LLMD. I can travel. If anyone can help me please send me a message. I'm so tired of being so sick.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. At least half of all Lyme patients travel out-of-state to get proper treatment.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Get it at your local library or buy them used online.
Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but you should not use your real name, because this is a public forum with all sorts of people on it. Read this link about it:
To remove your name from the signature line, click on "Edit Profile" under Lymenet Flash in the top middle section of the Lymenet page.
Click on "Edit Profile" on the left-hand side, scroll down to "Profile Fields" then down to "Signature". Make your changes, then click "Update Profile".

Hi Lola
Unfortunately S.C. is scare in the LLMD department. Hopefully someone might have some leads for you. I have a few LLMD's in nearby states that I will send to you.
These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out and they will contact you with LLMD's in your area. It is very important that you research each LLMD. To do this, google for patient reviews or join your area's Lyme support group. Support groups offer first-hand experiences from Lyme patients. Here's a contact for you; https://rawlsmd.com/lyme-support/united-states/south-carolina/lyme-disease-support-south-carolina
I will send you a private message. Healing wishes to you.
P.S. If you have any questions, be sure to utilize Lymenet's 'search' function located in the middle of the home page. It' contains an impressive collection of ALL things Lyme.
You can also post your questions on open forum and a Lymenet member will respond.
