My lyme specialist in MD told me that after my urine test comes back. Of fasting off of antibotics for 6 weeks. If the 3 day test of urine comes back negative of lyme. It would mean my lyme was non active. He could no longer treat me. That I need a doctor to treat me for the residue of lyme in my body. If someone can suggest a doctor that can treatment for the damage of Lyme in my body for the past 21 years. I would appreciate it. Thank you in Advance. [confused]

I'm really just bumping this back up to the top so prehaps someone will see it and answer you question.

But, I can tell you this, the doctor you were seeing the, so called Lyme specialist, is not a Lyme Specialist if he believes for one second that you need follow by another doctor cause he cannot treat you further.

And, too, I'd like to add that most every poster here who has seen a Rheumatologist hasn't gotten anywhere with them either.

So, my advice is to start another post and starting looking for a REAL LLMD and get proper treatment. [confused] as to why you haven't before now.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound so abrupt...but, I have been around the block with this disease and am currently in remission.
