If you are talking about Dr. M.C. in Temple Terrace, I can tell you that he seems to be regarded as a good LLMD but also has a reputation for suddenly dropping patients from his practice.
He did this to my parents and sister. The excuse that he gave in his letter was his own health, but I have been in contact with other patients whom he has dropped just as suddenly with similar excuses.
My perception is that if you don't respond to treatment in a couple of months, he drops you to avoid being accused of using long term antibiotic treatment. You may wish to check with a local support group for more information.
If he is your only/best option, you could see him but be prepared to suddenly have to find another doctor if you don't respond to treatment pretty quickly.

Ditto, ditto, ditto to tickedntx's response!!!
I would go elsewhere.....without even thinking about it!!! Why? It can be a devastating setback in treatment to have to find another LLMD at the drop of a hat!!!
Been there....done that!!!!
