Hi,

I'm looking for doctors in this area (a hotbed of Lyme disease!) who have some knowledge of the disease and don't just dismiss patients who have a negative blood test. Thanks so much!

Mary

Wow! I'm from Haverhill as well. I never knew it was a "hotbed for Lyme" I'm currently looking into finding a LLMD around here as well. It amazes me that there aren't to many in MA- since it's one of the highest states with reported disease.

I have been seeing Dr. P in Amesbury for 6 months. He is knowledgable and personable. He is excellent, in my experience. He is an environmental MD and has many alternative/ holistic treatments to compliment the traditional.

I have been on IV Rocephin for 6 months, Tindamax and now on Mepron and Zithro.

Feel free to PM me.
