Please help me decide who I should see. I've seen both doctors and can't decide who to see. I like both of them but can't afford to see both. Dr. P. is great but has told me he doesn't use I.V. especially if you have had it before and you are still sick. I like the fact that you see him at every visit.
Dr. H. has a lot of treatment protocols and seems more open to I.V. treatment if needed but you don't always see him at every visit. He also seems very very busy and harder to reach if there is a problem. Your opinions are appreciated!

I've been seeing Dr. P in CT for a little over a year now. He is closer for me than Dr. H.
I have never seen Dr. H. So I can only tell you what I have experienced with Dr P. When I started seeing him I could barely walk (nuero-lyme).
I needed long term antibiotics just to survive.
At my last visit in April, I actually asked to start pulsing with my meds.
I am ready to start drawing those suckers out of all their hiding places!
I was scared to death to even miss one day of my antibiotics before now.
My CD57 is now at 40!
He has been great and I know I wouldn't be at the healing point that I am at now without him.
He has told me that he doesn't know much about supplements (not that he doesn't agree with them, just that he has never been taught that in medical school) and has never suggested to use any except for probiotics.
He does recommend using Dr. B's protocol for supplements.
He has never mentioned Buhner's or Marshal's.
I don't know where he stands on rife or any other alternative meds.
Does anyone else know?
I plan to ask him at my next visit.
Now that I am doing better I want to know what my options are to keep my lyme away without staying on antibiotics forever.
Does Dr. H help with rife?

I have been told that Dr. H. is not taking any new patients at this time due to the influx when Dr. B. closed his practice to pursue research.

My husband has seen Dr. P in ct and dr d. in Ma. We decided to try Dr d because he accepts our ins where Dr.P does not....our feelings were to stick with Dr. P regardless of having to pay out of pocket. He is very thorough and always gets back to you if you have a question. We both felt that he gives you more of his time. We have not seen the other Dr you mentioned but I have nothing but good things to say about Dr p.
Good Luck
