Looking for Doctor in Freehold/Manalapan/Jackson Area.

Have had lyme for about a year. Been treated twice with 30 day antibiotics. Most recently went to an ID specialist who says I have TMJ (jaw pain), yet in reading I see this is another facet of lyme disease.

Hi,

There are 2 doctors in the Jackson area. They are referred to as Dr. E & Dr. S. Have you gotten their contact info.?

I go to Dr. E. If you would like her info., let me know and I'll send it to you.

Hello Stromi and welcome

Most likely your TMJ pain is referred pain from a muscle spazm somewhere on the back of your skull. It's typical of Lyme and magnesium depletion. Start using your knuckle and jam it into the back of your skull until you find the knot (or knots).

$ to donuts you find it. Repeated pressure with a knuckle will help... Treat it like a thumb-war. Sooner or later, the spazm has to give. The spot you jam will be sore, but your jaw will feel a heck of a lot better.

Heating pads, lotions with arnica will help. As will trigger point injections. Dr E can help you with that.
