I was wondering if anyone knew of any medical help on the HI Islands that knew about lyme?

Did you check to see if there are any support groups in Hawaii? If not, it's possible that some of the groups in CA might know. There's a link on the upper left side of this page. Support Groups are listed by state.

Also, check the Lyme Disease Assoc. website below. Enter zip codes in Hawaii to search for a LLMD. It allows 3 free searches monthly.

There have been some residents of Hawaii who have posted on seeking a dr. There was a recent one, maybe last 6 months, who ended up flying to Ca. for treatment.

There was another poster from China, and he flew to Ca, also.

Maybe if you did a search for Hawaii, in seeking forum, you could get their names, and pm for their experiences.

yes, there are NO llmds in Hawaii; they fly to Calif. for llmds! [Frown]

There is a Hawaii support group kind of [email protected] and the leader is Julie.

Julie and her daughter both have Lyme and see a LLMD in Chico, CA.

I know 4 others here that all fly to CA and see Dr. H.
