Boy, I haven't posted in a long time!!!
I have been treated for both Lyme and Bartonella for the past 2 years but seem to be left with a lot of 'arthritis-type' symptoms. My LLMD here is stumped and can't figure out what to do (nothing seems to work). I thought that another LLMD specializing in Rheumatology would be the best idea.
I located Dr. M (Rockville, MD) through the LDA. I'm also considering Dr. G in New Jersey, although she's quite a long drive. Any suggestions or recommendations?
Since school starts soon, I'm getting worried about this. My hands are REALLY STIFF and my fingers are still swollen with some loss of strength, my forearms are 'achy', a bit like tendonitis, and my ankles are swollen (It's not a pretty sight!).
Thanks in advance!
Marian
