Hi - My 3 children and I all have Lyme. I have had it all my adult life, and with symptoms going back to my childhood I may have had this all my life. I suspect my oldest daughter was born with lyme. This history could be very long here, I am trying to keep it short.
We have a great LLMD who has been treating all of us now for over 2 years. He is over an hour away, I am able to make the appointments for us but it is difficult to drive the distance sometimes - but we do it. I am on our second pediatrician ( the first practice would not believe that we could all have lyme). I had heard good things about this new practice, and they seem very thorough however not when it comes to lyme. I was hoping to find a LLPediatrician - or a more compassionate Pediatrician. I absolutely hate the feeling I get when I walk into this office.
We live in norhtern NJ. Sparta, Newton, Vernon, W.Milford, Wayne are large towns near us. We live very close to NY state border - Orange Cty, NY - some towns are Middletown, Warwick, Goshen.
Like I said, we are looking for a pediatrician, we already have a LLMD we really like. I just need someone closer who can give my children their immunizations and check ups for school sports forms.
