I live in Orange County CA and have not had Lyme disease confirmed. My neurologist ordered a Western Blot and ran it through a local lab. I came back reactive for bands 41 and 58. They did not even report for bands 31 and 34 which I understand are Lyme specific. She has referred me to an Infectous Disease Specialist who is in our HMO plan. She also wants me to start taking Lyrica. Am I in good hands? Does anyone know of a Lyme Disease Doctor in my area?

NO!!! You are NOT in good hands!!! Call Support Groups in your area and find out who they recommend. There's a link on the upper left side of this page. Be sure to call them, don't email.
