need LLMD in/near Providence Rhode Island or
Boston area

About 10 days ago, 15 year old daughter found tick that was probably on her more than 72 hours.

Now she has bad headache, dizzy, light hurts eyes, and has a fever.

No rash.

Her Dr. doesn't suspect Lyme, thinks its viral.

I demanded antibiotics and got 200 mg/ day of doxycycline.
Should I find a new DR who will give more? I sent the tick to the lab to be tested.

Was that a waste of time?
Thanks for any help, llan

Keep in mind there are false negatives with tick testing, so it's still be possible to have contracted the disease with a negative result.

And if it's positive, the chances of having Lyme are very, very high given 72-hr attachment and these symptoms.
