I am need of e regular peditrician who is open minded about Lyme. I have a LLMD and just need a reg who will treat colds vaccinations etc.
I tried a new one last week, but their skepticism makes me wonder if they will turn my LLMD in. And rather fight and try to convince, I'd rather ask you guys.
By the way, I already requested to get in touch with local Lyme group and no one responded to my application.
Thank you C

Hello, c3mom and welcome to our site. We are happy to have you!
I never heard of needing an "application" to join a support group.
If you go to google and just type in "Lyme support groups in Ohio" there is information you need!
Also, go to the left side of screen, 3rd one down, click on "Support groups" and you will find info for your State with contact names, email address, ph#s, etc.
I don't have listing for any other drs. besides llmds.

Sorry I can't help you either but we have a lot of folks from ohio here, so I hope somebody comes along
and helps out. Can you PM me and tell me who your LLMD is, as there are so few in Ohio. Would love to hear your comments about him/her.

I went to a new Peditrician today, and I think I found a keeper!!!!
I explained the whole Lyme thing starting with me and ending with the kids and AND he was so receptive.
He asked about the WB and I told him how I didn't show a poss result and so I didn't expect the kids to either. I told him we did the abx trial w/pos results. He just listened. He didn't interrupt or try to correct or anything.
I may try him out a couple more times before I give out his name - I don't know.
Very much into nutrition and phys fitness - my point being, that most doctors I have found are pop a pill or get a shot and don't inquire about nutrition.
Happy mom in Ohio!
