My past experiences.....
Diagnosed with infantile paralysis1954
migraines, early onset arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, post polio syndrome,PTSD,mitral valve regurgitation, contact dermatitis,as many different mental disfunctions as I had different psychs....

The thing is Lyme can and does give us all symptoms of many and varied diseases...

Now we can possibly use this to our advantage for getting on disability because mainstream medicine, and other agencies don't recognize lyme as a creditable reason.

Perhaps that's why some ducks use the other diagnosis...so the insurance folks will not bother them...(I know, gives a lot of credit to ducks...only a hypothetical theory).

Anyway, I say go with the flow....as long as you get what you think you need cuz........what happens after you get the tests for these other syndromes and diseases is this.......

The ducks don't find what they're supposed to find....You get relief knowing that you don't have what they said you did....

But now the ducks call you either a hypochondriac or a malingering sociopath.

Get what you need first...then go get checked for the other stuff to rule them out....

Have I weighed the personal feeling of fraud and sins of omission??? Yes very carefully....

But the fraud and omission perpetrated on any lymie far outweighs what I'm suggesting........

What has it gotten any of us to insist that we are right about our infection and "they" are wrong.......

Play the game folks.............zman

I think this is called pragmatism, and I am all for it.
