It's the only thing that makes me sleep through the night, I've recently discovered. I had to take it for a few days before it really worked. I do have trouble getting out of bed in the morning though, even if I'm lying there awake. Hopefully it's just the weather, it's been raining or snowing here every day for 3 weeks.

We had a kitten that looked exactly like that....pose and all!
Be aware that Ambien can cause depression if taken for a long period of time. I was taking 10mg every night for about a month after I was hospitalized this summer.
then it caught up with me. Wham-o! I cut back to 1/2 pill and the depression let up. Now I'm back to taking 1/2 as needed, which thankfully is not every night.
Just wanted you to be aware of that!
happy sleeping!

Thanks Lymetoo,
I never looked up the side affects and was sorta wondering.
On the literature from the pharmacy it said not to use over a week at a time.
