We had a few inches of snow here yesterday and this morning as my walker and I headed for my car I saw how much cleaning the vehicle would need. I also started to get very nervous about falling.

My neighbor saw me and offered to help. As he was scraping off my windshield, I tried to inch myself to the car which was complicated by the ice on the ground.

I felt myself falling, he tried to catch me, I said better to let me go.

He was very calm and patient. "I know you're nervous," he told me. "Put your arms around my shoulders and I'll pick you up."

I protested. "You have a bad back!"

Eventually I relented. He picked me up and deposited me in the driver's seat as if I were as light as a feather.

Now he's about six feet tall, a stocky Filipino man, and I would never have thought he was an angel.

But believe me, he is. He finished cleaning off my car, ad told me to knock on his door whenever I needed him.

A very nice story about a nice guy, Monica. Just the kind of care you deserve.

Don't know if I would consider him an angel, just behaving the way he should.
