Hi honey,

I am not sure if you are the mom that posted last week. Can you refresh me with the details? I have lyme myself and 2 children with lyme.

I do want to encourage you...The positive I can see just from your post is that you have become aware of the dangers of lyme and co-infections NOW while your child is young. The sooner the better and you are on this sooner.

Are you getting into a lyme literate dr.?

Post here or pm me back.

Char

We had a check up yesterday and of course the doctor blew me totally off!

I just have a few questions if you are up for it?

a lot of us are moms... ask away?

None of us have definitive answers, but maybe we can help

take a deep breath -- as my favorite physician said to me once, your children cannot be well, if you are not well....

Momma, yes, ask away..Sorry if we scare you..But this all can be so overwhelming..YOu will need to buckle your seat and know you are finally at a place for help.

I wish I had found this board when my daughter first got ill..She might be well by now..Unfortunaltely it went misdiagnosed for many years and treated by psychiatrists and their meds. As she got sicker.

Now that she has passed the age of 18, it is difficult to overcome the remaining psych issues that make her objectionable and non-compliant. So I repeatedly say get the babies well while they are little if possible.

Later, it may be out of your control..So you do have some time, it is not like you are too late to work on this..But there is so much to learn and understand..You will be on a roller coaster ride..lymemomtooo
