Hi Lynne,
Sorry I did'nt think of this sooner...duhhh!

If you're comming from up north you want to take 75S to 275 towards the Tampa international airport exit(rte 60 Clearwater)...

Get over left in a hurry and take 60west Clearwater which takes you over the Courtney Campbell causeway(gulf to bay road all same road different names).

When you stay in right lane and come to the end of causeway go north on 611 which is McMullen Boothe road...you'll be heading North...

If you goof up and go over a bridge you went the wrong way...

Take this road staying in center to right lane cuz after you cross over 580 look for driveway on right just before countryside hospital...set back a little says Briar Creek...

This is entrance to my doc...he's in bldg H on your right...

Also entrance to my park if you keep going straight...look for map on right to find me...

I'll give you my address in private if you wish.....zman

Thank you, Tony.

I realized several days ago that my box was full so I deleted a bunch of messages. I was wondering what had happened if you had tried to answer.

I think I'm being undertreated. My doc seems to just do his own thing, he agrees with the good guys but doesn't treat aggressively.

I'll let you know. This is still a pretty good distance from us, but not out of the question. And given your experiences, I trust you.

Thanks again,

Lynne.

hey lynne,
first thanks for the trust...
the doctor I got as a result of having been dropped by a couple others one duck and one llmd...was like a godsend.

I actually did'nt have to go thru the rigamorow of explaining why a negative result on lyme test from unqualified lab meant nothing with this disease.

He actually told me...along with a lot of other stuff...He's not a llmd but treats me as if any doctor should...having a patient with a persistant resistant infection...

After many years of walking out of ducks offices feeling bad...really bad cuz thi ducks would'nt help or recognize my disease...I actually walked out of this guy's office with hope and smiling...

there's another doctor in close proximity(around the corner at mease countryside) who proportedly treats lyme...I have yet to check him out as to his protocol...my insurance is not one he accepts.

perhaps yours will be.......I could prob go to him if I had just my medicare...but cuz I want good prescription prices I'm on my wife's florida1st, which apparently even the doctors at mease don't take...and she works for mease...go figure......

Looking forward to meeting you.......zman

You really did luck out, but then, you deserve a break.

We have Blue Cross, but my Lyme doctor doesn't take any insurance except Medicaire.

Blue Cross deducts the allowed amount they'll pay for his charges from my deductible, but it takes them forever and ever to do this. When I hit my deductible, they will pay me back, but this hasn't happened yet.

Also, I have to file the paperwork myself. But hey, no worries.

I had several awful weeks without relief, but the last three days have been much better.

I'm grateful for whatever.
