I am so busy with dealing with life that I have not thanked the powers that be for the brochures and assistance for our school district..
I know that this is not the correct forum but just want others to know how much they are willing to help others when called upon.
Our school district is in a current epidemic area in PA..My older daughter is a learning support teacher and discovered 3 of 9 children to have ticks. This was after the entire school had done an exercise to walk for better health..
She freaked out and called MOMMA..She does not want to hear lyme except on such occasions..
All of the children went to the nurse and then to the bathroom..Checks by staff below the neck is a no-no..Thank you dangerous predators.
The principal then asked me to get material for all of the students..I tried numerous sources and had few replies..Some here were very gracious and offered things to download..Thank you very much!!
I did not hear from the LDA, until the box arrived in the mail..It was wonderful but a couple of days after school was out for the summer..
So I want to publicly let everyone know that the LDA is here for us and to let Pat know thru the back door that I appreciate the efforts..
I have talked to the nurse and a program is planned during the school year but also plan to meet with the superintendent to attempt to do a back to school thing for the staff..
So Kudos to LDA..I promise I will send a much better thanks when I have more info to share..lymemomtooo
