I see so many new members each month, it got me thinking. To those of you who have been coming to this site for quite a long time, what do you think the percentage of those who get better leave this site?
What I really mean is, do people typically return to the site to support others and offer encouragement, or do they disappear into cyberspace only to live their life LYME free?

Most the people get well leave the site and get back to living a real life.
I would say they are well. Even though I do believe it is possible that I will be symptom free one day,
personally I dont think that every spirochete in my body will have been eradicated. (I have been sick 19 yrs)
So I guess it depends on your definition of lyme free.
Of course this is just my opinion as a lyme patient.
There are a couple people on here that still post here regularly and are well... I believe gigi is one of them right now my brain cant remember any other names.

People do get well. With current treatments and I am hopeful for future understanding and improvement of treatment.
I find when I feel better I don't come here as much partly because I am soo behind in every area of my life and also the starting to reenter life stage is awfully draining.
I do try to get on to help people when I can but it is hard.
