My daughter who is ill with Lyme has to give a presentation for her Participation In Government class. She is dong the project on Lyme Disease, the political issues, guidelines, controversies, etc. She ahs to show both sides and at the end let her beliefs known and why.

She has to have a political cartoon about her topic and we can't find one. Can anyone help us out? She is also looking for a video to use not longer than 8 minutes.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have exactly what you need, but maybe it'll be helpful in locating video.

A documentary type film is being done & I think that someone mentioned a "preview" video of about 8 minutes. It includes interviews with Lyme patients.
I tried to "Search" LymeNet using the title, but I didn't get anything.

Post a new topic titled something like:
Need info about "Under Our Skin - The Untold Story of LD".

Someone may be able to give the link to see it. Your daughter may be able to get permission to use it in her presentation.

For info about it, go to
www.openeyepictures.com
"Under Our Skin"

Also, suggest you add to the title of this post:
Need political cartoon

When I saw the title, I thought you had a political cartoon for people to see.

I think it's wonderful that your daughter is taking this opportunity to educate people about LD, & I hope that she can find all the info she needs.

When is it due?
Good luck to her with the presentation.

yes, i too suggest you edit your topic title and add more:

example: need political cartoon for child's lyme school presentation!

now you've got everyone's attention...

to do this, click on pencil icon and go to the top where you can add more.

when done, be sure you clicked lower left hand side box to send all replies to you.

click on edit send; now, hopefully, you can get more!

please THANK YOU CHILD for doing this lyme awareness project for school! [group hug] [kiss] [group hug]

Thanks everyone. I did email open eye pictures. I wish I could get the trailer on DVD. I only get the audio on my computer. I am going to check out the suggestion for a political cartoon.

The project is due the 18th. It is a 25 minute presentation and it will be a challenge with the lyme flare my daughter is having right now. She has not been in school the last month so she is the only without a partner and her neuro symptoms are horrible right now.

Thanks again.
