I just hate the fact that I have the unexplained anxiety and brain fog caused by LD! I don't want to feel stupid, but I do...

Please see me make peace with myself...

Justag,
This doctor has written a number of articles about the mental and psychological changes involved with Lyme.

The links on the left of her page lead to many articles, which are very readable.

Wishing you the best,
Carol

nuero stuff is scarey. there's no argument there... But... with treatment a lot of it comes back Justag. And I think you're dealing with it early enough to have minimal long term effects. Just keep plugging till you can get good treatment and keep the bbb in mind... And co-infections.

The slowest things to come back seem to be short term memory loss and even that comes back gradually.

You need to keep courage and faith in yourself. It's not you, it's something you are going through. And something you WILL get through.

There's a book by Stephen Buhner, "Healing Lyme", that not only provides homeopathic suggestions for the treatment of Lyme, but also gives an excellent explanation of how the Borrelia bacteria behaves.

I've read it through once and I'm on my second reading now.

You will find lots of answers to your questions in this book.

Here's a link at Amazon.com for the book:
