Just sending a shout out to all those who live in/hear Lake Tahoe, where the incredible wildfire is burning right now. The news images are heartbreaking . . . most of us who live in northern CA know of Tahoe, or go there ourselves, for me, it is personally gut wrenching to see and hear what is happening right now. I can't remember if it's Scott (Sforgren?) who lives there, or Bryan skyking? Brain can't pull it up, sorry.
Anyhow, thoughts are with you, and for all those who've lost their homes up there. No injuries, incredibly. Lots of animals and critters are also displaced, the news this afternoon did a piece on this, and it made me cry. so sad.

I just got hold of Bryan. His house is OK. The fires are only 2 miles from him, so I'm sure he's not completely out of the woods yet.
He said thanks to those asking about him!

Sounds just like my friend who lives near me, but has a family vacation home up in that area, it just missed the street where her home is. . .
The winds JUST now are picking up here (Bay Area), and it looks like the window is closing for the firefighters there right now to get this fire nailed down. . . just as the weather news people predicted would happen. Tomorrow, or even tonight, will really tell the tale.
Thanks for checking Lymetoo.

I'm getting worried about Bryan. I hate to call again as I'm sure he's busy packing and evacuating today. The winds are predicted to be bad for the next several days.

Lymetoo, it happened just as I thought it would: fire jumped, and 250 people had to be evacuated from Tallac and Camp Richardson, and Camp Concord, which are on the south-western shore.
Wind started up there last night, the news had startling info on all fronts---44% contained, but that is not going to help with the winds doing what they're doing right now.
If you knew what area Bryan lives in, that may help. I've got link(s) for homes destroyed, but that was from Sunday and Monday.
