Has anyone tried a raw vegetatian diet? I've been reading a lot about it lately and I'm considering giving it a try. Has anyone tried this and if you have what was your experience with it?

I'm vegan. I don't eat a RAW vegan diet, but I've been a vegan for TWO years. It's been great. I wouldn't change my choice ever. But I didn't just do it for my health -- I wasn't sick when I changed my diet to veganism in the first place. But I love being vegan. And will never go back.
That and my body didn't like dairy products all that much. Made me sick.
So it wasn't hard giving up ALL animal products.

Just a warning to make sure you get enough protein. I was a vegetarian for 14 years and I felt much better when I switched to animal protein. I have a lot of muscle pain from Lyme. I also have amino acid deficiencies, and you get your amino acids from protein.

I have tried it twice since coming down with lyme.
Both times, I was not well enough to do the food prep needed and the juicing.
Another concern was all the sugar from the fruits.
I think at times, that did cause flar ups as I need to watch my sugar intake even if it comes from fresh fruit.
