Miracles happen everyday, many people survived "death sentences" their doctors gave them.

Wondering how much our spiritual power can play in fighting lyme disease? Sometimes it's so difficult to be upbeat [Frown]

Any thoughts and comments would be highly appreciated. I'm so scared and ****ed by my neuro symptoms, gosh, I'm so embarrassed by being as stupid and slow as now...

100%.

It's just sometimes hard to stay upbeat and positive.

I recommend funny movies, brisk walks, hot baths, books on cd, a book of daily affirmations and going to entertainment websites to distract you from your own life.

The mind body connection is real, very real, and there have been many studies on the power of positvie thinking......

However, often it is very hard to get the mind in sync with a body that isn't cooperating.

Great dicipline, and mindful practice, practice, practice, is the only way to get there.

I truly believe that it was prayer that led me to this site.

Prayer that led me to my LLMD through an Angel here.

I told my LLMD that when I first met him.

Without my belief and (even stronger) spirituality,

I don't think I would be here. Or still going.

I don't know about "fighting" the disease through my spirituality

Just a firm belief that I will get there with the Lord's help.

I still find my Lyme a mixed blessing.

I think of the many people, especially my children and husband,

Who would never have been diagnosed had it not been for my journey.

I also see life and people differently.

I always was spiritual. It is like a different level of conciousness that

My illness has led me to.

I've been so sick. I know how you feel.

I was dying.

Yet, despite all the ills that Lyme has brought me,

The blessings still outweigh the negative.

Please hang in there. Sending you positive thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,

Geneal
