Hello. I just registered and am definately a newbie.

I don't know a lot about Lyme, but I am learning. The more I read, the more concerned that I become with helping.

I met a friend and he explianed that he has Lyme. The more that we have talked the more interested I have become in Lyme and I do not mean in a hobby like interest.

It seems like the new thing is to support something. There is breast cancer, Autism, child abuse, etc.

But, I think some people forget that there are other illnesses that are out there and they need support and research as well.

After going to several sites and reading up on the Lyme issue, I decided to write my argument paper for my English class on the insurance companies and Congress on Lyme disease.

I hope that I have not offended any one by joining this forum and I also hope I get to know many of you and actually make a small difference in the fight against Lyme.
