I recently applied for life insurance and was denied due to "lyme's dieases" (yes, "lyme's" lol). Anyway, does anyone here have any recommendations for insurance companies that actually issue policies to those with lyme?
I know one option is to get life insurance without a medical exam but the premiums are uusually more expensive so i was trying to avoid this route.
Thanks for any help!

don't tell em. Ins. companies only believe that Lyme exists when it is to their advantage.
I know that you have to tell, but if you do not have a conclusive dx on paper, I wouldn't mentin it.

Hi David,
I got life insurance this year with Alfa. I told them I had Lyme and was on residual medication.
I was rated (higher premium) I'm sure due to Lyme but was not turned down.
You could get a smaller life insurance policy without a medical workup, usually 10,000 and under.
I'm in the insurance field, when I'm working, and the only downside to lying on your app is if the insurance company gets wind of it, they'll consider it fraud on your part.
The benefit wouldn't be payable.
I got my small policy $25,000 mainly for cremation costs and a little extra for some bills.
It's a big relief for me not to worry about final expenses or fraud so weigh your choices wisely.
Good luck and shop around.

I was denied for life insurance based on my prescription records. I didn't tell them a thing. I had no idea insurance companies can access your prescription records.
