Well, we saw Dr. C today. The appt. went really well and we were very happy with him.

The trip has been hard, but it has been worth it to get the medical care that my daughter needs.

We will be heading home tomorrow. Thank you to all the well wishes...

She will be starting on Ceftin first because the doxy that she took recently didn't do anything for her. She also got a prescription to do B-12 shots.

We also have a whole bunch of supplements that we are supposed to purchase. I haven't even looked at everything yet, but I'm sure it's all the things I've seen on here.

She also got a prescription for nystatin.

Thanks again to everyone on here...

Christie

Way cool. How old is your child?

Good to know you have an LLMD who will treat her.

JR,

She is fourteen. It seems so unfair to be so sick at such a young age, but you just have to deal with whatever you are dealt in life.

I am so thankful that we found Dr. C. He seems to know what he is doing, and he has done extensive research.

Thanks merrygirl. I actually got her prescription filled at the local pharmacy and it was only $5 with my insurance. Do you get yours any cheaper???

Is your daughter in school or home schooled?
My daughter was in school and it was a real challenge to fit the meds and supplements in when something has to be taken on an empty stomach or with food.
Tricky tricky scheduling. Good luck with all of that.
