I've heard some people say that antibiotics are the only thing that ultimately kill Lyme, so you've got to hit them with abx, and hit'em hard. Then clean up the rest of the coinfections afterwards.
Others say that antibiotics don't work, they only make the bugs stronger, getting them to go deeper into the tissues, create biofilms, morph into cystic forms, etc. Then there's the damage that the abx do to the body. The anti-antibiotic factions say to try all the alternative stuff one-by-one through trial and error. Then use abx at the very end to clean up what's left.
The fact that different things work for different people certainly clouds the issue.
I can see merits and liabilities in both of the above strategies. I'd like to get a consensus from the board as to which might be the best approach generally speaking, hoping people from each side will weigh in.

You'll get more consensus if you post this in Medical Questions!!
If I were bitten today, I would call my dr for antibiotics. No waiting around for me!! You have one good chance to beat it out... that's EARLY in the game!
