Well, this is my 5th day of Flagyl and the body aches are here! Oh my ... whammy!!!
Does anyone else have symptoms that literally change by the second?? I can have a leg pain one second, then a foot pain, then a shoulder ache, then no aches, then a pain somewhere else.
WHAT A MESS!!! Is this typical? It sure has been the case for my illness!
I don't know whether to be relieved that the Flagyl is apparently killing off something or sad and depressed
because this confirms my Lyme diagnosis. Somehow I have still managed to disbelieve that I actually
DO have this disease but with every herx and every new ache and pain ... it's getting a heck of a lot
harder to deny!
I will soon be taking another Epsom Salt bath and getting in BED!

Hey Kim. My daughter feels much better taking chelated magnesium. I buy the Solgar brand and it's not a bad price for a big bottle.

This sounds exactly like the lyme symptoms that were in the forefront for me last summer.
Just think, with every pain, another bacteria is dying. You are strong and you can do this!!

Hi Kim!! I'm sorry you are having a difficult time with the Flagyl. I have to agree with you, it's different most everyday. You & I were exposed at almost the same time & started our treatments the same, also. I feel like we're kindrid spirits. Some days I just want to gripe! Others I'm too tired.
You know, my arm pain is much worse. I've lost about 30% mobility of my left arm! It just stabs sometimes. I'm up to taking Flagyl 3 days week. Each week I increase it by 1 capsule. He said he didn't want me to Herx. It also looks like I'm gonna have to take a medical leave from work. Bad thing about it is I only have 58 hrs sick available & 45 PTO days. That's only about 2.5 weeks, maybe 3. We're supposed to discuss it in detail on Monday at work. I've gotta do something. Hours are too long, I can't get to my exercise regularly because of it & now I've started intense chiropractic treatment. I've lost 80% of the curvature in my neck. The top bone has been pushing on my brain stem. Anyhow, we'll get through this together!
