for 3-4 months i was riding, kayaking and walking every day. lost 50 pounds in 8 months.

I FELT LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING!!!!

i was with new ppl who didn't know my history or that i was a lymie.

now this stupid knee replacemnt has me limping so i don't look normal and my llmd has put me back on abx tx (i was on buhner fora year) and i'm dealing with all things lymie and i hate it

i've been here...done that...i wanna move on...

i had a taste and i just want to finish my life playing...not staying near the computer and the bathroom and my many pills and supps

just venting...i do love you all and i am so glad you are here...

I'm sorry you're here every day too. [Frown] But you got there once, and you can get there again. Hang in there...

I am sorry to hear about your knee and having to go back on antibiotics. After feeling normal and moving forward it must be discouraging. I know it is!!!

Just out of curiosity, when you were on the Buhner herbs were you under the care of your llmd or did you go it alone and it was helpful?

I would love a break from doctor appointments and the regimen I have been using and the tea sounds so simple. AND inexpensive.

I wonder if people stay away from their llmd's for a while to try something else, will they take them back?

Hopefully the antibiotics will get you back on track quickly. Have you had a herx from them?

Take it easy!

I'm sorry you're stuck here too. But at least you know where to find us when you need us!!

Praying you will get your life back AGAIN and VERY SOON.

Take one day at a time.

"Just out of curiosity, when you were on the Buhner herbs were you under the care of your llmd or did you go it alone and it was helpful? "

my llmd put me on the buhner tea but after giving me a handout...i don't think i asked him anything

i had the book and i read it a lot and made my own decisions...(cats claw made me really sick...i take reflux drugs...in the book bhuner says dont take cats claw if you are on reflux drugs)

he wanted me on the herbs cuz i would get better on abx but as soon as i dtopped them i got sick fast...over a period of a few yrs...he said the bugs have trouble figuring out the herbs like they do the abx

in a year i got sooooo much better. but then i moved.

now i have a new llmd (cuz i moved) -he was supposed to be my primary but i guess he is lyme literate and as soon as he saw me (and the sx check list) he said i needed to be on abx...well he ran an igenex test too...it wasn't totally pos but it showed i had some infection

so he has his own abx protocol and it is higher dosage than anything i have had in 10 yrs and i am herxing so i'm gonna go with what he says

i'm not stopping the herbs tho. buhner says its good to do both herbs and abx

in a year i never even got on the basic protocol. my llmd didn't suggest eleuthero and altho i was on it for viral stuff i wasn't doing it the buhner way and for some reason i never startred andrographis...so i am going to get on them too

i herxed bad on the abx the first day but 4 days later and some extra probioticas i am on the full dose

thanks to all for positive thoughts

Kayak...you will get there again. Can't imagine being "normal" and then having a set back.

But, looking forward to reading about the "normal" things you will be doing in the future.

yard sales are a big thing here. But, I don't think they did well this weekend.

Saw a truck unloaded things at the thrift shop for the human society across the street Saturday afternoon.

They too did not have any luck this weekend with their yard sale.

At least you were able to try.
