Of course I have suspected Lyme for months now, but after being sick for 15 years and trying to find out what is wrong with me for the last 9 years, it feels pretty darn good to finally feel like there is hope.
The specifics of some of the tests results are one positive band on the western blot (58), high EBV, sinus thickening on my MRI, positive Herpes 6, and a CD57 result of 32.
The doctor has me on Azithromycin, Mepron and Omnicef. So off I go, wish me luck!!!!!

Sorry you have to battle this dreadful disease, but happy you got the right diagnosis.
It's weird that we feel happy to get a positive diagnosis, but completely understandable at the same time.
My daughter was sick for so long. It was a relief to get some answers.

I know, right?! My brother-in-law posted to my facebook page, "Congratulations, I think..."
That says it all right there!

We used to call that moment when you finally are diagnosed with Lyme disease as the "Oh S**t/Halleluia" moment.
I remember dancing in a wobbly fashion around my kitchen saying "It has a name! It has a name!" That was after being passed from doctor to doctor - 25 in all.
Now you can take a deep breath and brace yourself for a fight.

Just got my dx last week.. A lot to process. I was relieved but then began the what if's.. My depression has been worse.. So far no meds not sure what I am waiting for. I don't have a LLMD just an internist and his PA. Have a rx for doxy and zoloft.
My Western Blot labs showed a reactive 41 IgG and a 23 Igm what ever that means. I had been tested 3 times but no western blot.
Good luck to you keep us posted..
