I wonder how many of you have not had parasite cleansing, even if all your tests have been negative?

When I read the posts I find that most of the very ill people report parasites some time later.

I think Dr. K is right.

I'm VERY ill. Have been for almost 6 years.

Was just diagnosed with Lyme last summer. Been on abx 3 months.

I am waiting on my orders of Humaworm and Parastroy to arrive in the mail.

I'm gonna give this a try.

On the subject of parasite cleanses......colonics are an excellent thing to be doing during and at the end of the parasite protocol.

Lingering dead parasites in the body is not good

Very good points!!, I also believe if your chronic and haven't done parasite cleansing, it would impede recovery.

No_lyme_in_florida,

Here is a link to drug based parasite protocols.

http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1574645#i

Some people have reported success at treating parasites with herbal products such as Humaworm, Parastroy, Huld Clark's protocol and etc. So, herbs may also be something that you could try.

But in my opinion if the parasite infection has already scattered beyond the intestinal tract then you will probably need to take anti-parasite drugs.

Maybe, but it is a problem if too many die off too quick, your liver cannot do this work and you get too sick.
Better get them back to the bowels and kill only as many as your liver can detox.
Only my pesonal idea.

Hambone - You said "I am waiting on my orders of Humaworm and Parastroy to arrive in the mail.

You are going to try one and then the other, right? Not both at the same time?

These two products have similar ingredients.

Start slow and ramp up. The herxing can be harsh with parasitic herbs.

Right...I will start one at a time. I just couldn't decide which one to start with so got them both.

I will definitely start low and slow.

please everyone remember, if you have colon problems, like ibs or diverticulitis like me. stay away from cleansers.

they can really irritate an already bad colon problem.

i don't dare try them. i've been hospitalized twice with diverticulitis and continue to have pain and problems.

a cleanser would probably put me right back in the er....

so please do be careful...

that's where colonics would be helpful with ibs and divertculitis

not in my case. my doctor told me no, and that's good enough for me.

a lot of cleansers and all have psyllium husks and other ingredients which tend to "sand" or "scour" the colon walls. with areas of infection or a thin colon lining it can cause bleeding.

that's why i can't take stuff for constipation. it pulls water out of the body and all, further irritating my colon.

anyway for me, this stuff would probably be a bad idea.

randi, the diverticulitis maybe initially from small parasites poking the holes to leave the bowels. No idea how to treat it now.

Randi,

Maybe your doctor would be open to treatinng you with some of the allopathic antiparasitics like albenza or Ivermectin?

Might be worth having him do an O & P (Ova & Parasite Test)on you on the off chance they would find some parasites. He might be more open to treating you for parasites then.

for karenl, when you say people report later of parasites do you mean testing positive or just trying cleanses and getting better along with lyme treatment.i had stool test that was negative for parasites.i have 5 animals in our home and thought it definatley could be a possibility.but doctor reassured me of my stool test being negative.

You cannot go by the tests. I had numerous tests over the yrs and always tested negative. After doing antiparasitics I was loaded with parasites.

If you have 5 animals in your home, it would be oh so wise for you to do some parasite cleansing.

You cannot go by stool tests and not by antibody tests.

If your parasites are in the tissue and not in the bowels you never find them.

With diverticulitis they easily can escape.

anjiell: I mean some people have been so horribly ill and then they reported they did see parasites and they feel better. I think one was just using artemisia for something else and found it.

OK, so how do we attract them to our bowels?

I've only heard of dairy which is not suggested when avoiding yeast.

I just wanted to say that my daughter was very, very ill (bedridden, homebound, one foot in the grave) for 2.5 years and is almost totally well and we didn't do anything for parasites.

Our LLND uses a lot of Dr. K's protocol, but parasites never appeared to be a problem for her.
