I am going, but not from your direction. There are others from New Jersey going. I hope you find someone from your area!

There is a discount for ordering with 4 or more people... I am looking for at least 2 more who want to order tickets.

If you haven't gotten your ticket yet...

The tickets are normally $100... with 4 or more they are $75.

Please PM me if you are interested.

I'm sorry Karensky, but we are coordinating with friends from PA. Still not sure if we will sleep in the city or not.
Sorry we won't be able to help you on this.
I hope someone pops up.

a ticket yet...just found out that the seminar will be recorded and

available for sale afterwards on DVD...so am thinking along those

lines now as an alternative...

Why spend all the time and valuable money to go to this seminar if it will be on DVD seriously? Travel expense, hotel expense, etc. All anyone cares about is what he has to say anyways, right? Is seeing him say it in person that important?

Tammy N and momlyme and anyone else reading...

I e-mailed the [email protected] and asked if

the seminar would be recorded and available afterwards...she

replied the following day ( which was yesterday,Thursday, Jan27 )

that indeed it would be and the DVD would be available for

purchase on Dr. K's website or by calling the academy...shortly

there after...no inside info...only what was relayed to me when I

asked...perhaps you want to recheck...

Karensky - I just saw your post now. Thanks.
We already bought tickets so we'll be going anyway. But I am definitely going to keep a look out for future seminars Dr. K does, to see if we can get them on DVD. Just love this man. Hopefully I can actually get to meet him this Saturday. Wish me luck! [Smile]

Can anyone postulate as to why tickets are so expensive?

Obviously the venue, staff, etc. needs to be paid for, but the ticket prices seem pretty outrageous.

Is this how Dr. K makes a living? Who is making money off this?

$100 for a 3 hour seminar is not that expensive in my mind. They think it could go to 4 hours, as he always talks a lot.

I agree. The price seems fair to me.
I have paid much more for seminars.
