After enduring a severely crappy day riddled with vertigo from attempting to balance my hormones...

crying, praying, crying some more, feeling forgotten by the world....

I received a card in the mail from the teachers at the school I used to work at, that I resigned from 5 years ago because I got too sick...and they all signed it and told me they missed me and wished I'd were back.

After 5 years, they still thought enough of me to reach out and say I am on their minds.

Made me cry even more, I was so touched.

My FAMILY doesn't even do that. My extended family acts like I don't exist.

This made me want my life back all that much more, and made me want to fight harder to get well and get back to teaching and what I was put on this earth to do.

Just goes to show what a little act of kindness can do for somebody. I'm ready to break out my Rocky theme music and start kicking some spirochete booty. [cussing]

Thank you for the comments.

It just really blew my mind that FIVE YEARS passed and they still think of me and want me back.

I had never laughed so hard everyday at a job....ever.

Losing my job because of this illness was almost harder then the illness itself. I loved it there. It was my hobby, my joy, my passion.

Pure grief is the only way to describe not being able to do it anymore.

Damn ticks.

I seriously thought after five years, I never cross their minds anymore.

And I needed this so badly today. So So badly.

Aww, Hambone, what a gift from God that was!

You must be a very special person!!!

It also goes to show that you never know how something we do or say can greatly impact someone else....and change their life.

I pray that the encouragement you feel gives you great hope and peace.

It is amazing how words of encouragement mean so much and give us hope.

Can't recall who said it but can see her face...she called something like that a God Wink I think.

It was one of the Judd daughters...not Ashley..

That is so thoughtful of them and I'm GLAD you were able to smile and know that you are in their thoughts.

I hope this will keep you positive and maybe you can look at the card each time you feel darkness whether it's from loneliness or just crap from lyme in general.

You can do it!!
