As many of you know I have been battling with the VA over my knees, stroke in my eye, and neuropathy in hands/feet.
Well I met with my Veteran's Rep and I will be having a teleconference in Boise. I will be presenting my "case" to a judge in DC over the net. That's good news
Bad news is it will be somewhere between 6 - 8 months from now and then on top of that I have to pay my own way to Boise!
Other good news is the main reason they denied my claim that my eye stroke was caused by the diabetes, the VA claimed that it was as a result of high blood pressure. Here it comes!
Many people disparage Wal-Mart but today I went in and asked for a list of my prescription meds from 2007 and they just printed off the sheet that proved I had received no less than 4 prescriptions for Lisinopril - my blood pressure meds!
Now I can go back and refile my claim and add that I was under a doctor's care and the cause of the stroke was due to undiagnosed diabetes as a result of the herbicide exposure! Score 1 for Wal-Mart!

So nice to hear something is coming around that may help you!
And yes, I have to say if Wal-Mart wasn't providing access to low-cost antibiotics and other meds, many people I know wouldn't have access to them at all.
