Hey Everyone we had a great day yesterday at the IDSA Protest. Many of the attending docs were asking questions and took the time to talk with us and take hand outs.
Thanks to all those who came and showed their support and those who couldn't make it but gave us much energy in Spirit!

Outstanding job, everyone!! I just looked at the fb pics - the last one looks like conference attendees are taking pics of the protest - I'm sure they were all aware of the protest!

- Paul & all who made Boston happen:
I'm so impressed with your success. Class act, I'd say, this voicing astonishment in a concerted effort. Thanks for all the hard work.
The signs all looked great.
I would have been possitively impressed had I encountered you guys on the sidewalk (but I am not able to even be out in traffic at all, so I'm glad you all were).
NEWS: Lyme patients rally outside IDSA's annual meeting in Boston
October 22, 2011
According to participant Sharon Rainey, about 70 people gathered peacefully in Boston outside the annual IDSA convention to protest the current treatment guidelines for Lyme disease.
Coming from as far as Arizona, Wisconsin and Virginia, Lyme patients held homemade signs and banners, and chanted, "I-D-S-A, change your Lyme disease guidelines today."
Approximately ten IDSA convention attendees approached the protesters individually, asking questions and listening to Lyme patients' concerns.

Although this is a FaceBook page for lymedisease.org - it does connect for me. The one posted above would not let me connect because I dropped my FB account.
So, for those who may not have a Facebook account, the link here worked for me: ------------
Many great photos, scroll down to see a one -minute video clip - a panorama of the protesters & their signs. -

I just have to say how impressive it was that ten doctors asked questions and listened. Even (just) ten. That's rare. Good for them. And good for you for setting up an environment in which that could happen. -

Yes, Great job, Paul.
Lymetoo...that was one of my signs. Glad you liked it. :-)
Keebler, I think in reality, we had closer to 80. The number Sharon got was from a sign her husband has us all sign, but some came a bit later and never signed in.
Thank you all that attended and as Paul says, also to those that were there in spirit.

I find it interesting that Paul said on fb that a lot of the attendees did not know much about Lyme disease - simply ignorant. wow. Thx for educating them!

I was so sorry to have missed this very important rally. I was at Mayday and it was really good for me. I plan to be at the next rally. I'm bringing others from my state as well.
