I think I am actually breathing again after a decade plus of holding my breath!
I have waited quite awhile to post this...playing that awful wait and see game...but I believe my daughter is much better and enjoying a practically normal life these days.
She started to really show improvement about a year ago and I was thrilled because that was really the first time in all these years I saw significant progress...but I also waited...
She got tetnus and got ill and was worried that Lyme would rear it's ugly head again because she was compromised...so I waited...
She finally got better from the tetnus fiasco...but I waited...
It has been several months since that and today I must admit I think this is the real thing!
Her team of doctors actually pulled it off!!!
Thank-you Dr.M.

I love reading these post. I'm so happy for both you, and your daughter!
Tell her to enjoy life, and don't think about - BUT what if****
You did a great job helping her along the way, take a deep breath, and start enjoying life with her...
All the best; to both of you in the future!
