Oh, my. He does make it sound like a piece of cake - and that Mayo saved the day.

I do hope he got all that was needed. He was probably very lucky, too.

Still, I really hopes he takes care of himself and finds a LLMD if anything changes. [he may have found a LLMD AFTER Mayo, but that is not clear].

We've had Trevor Bayne on our "Racing Lyme Disease Awareness" pages since he got it last year and had to miss some races.

See the update from this month (bottom article) and the good news about Lyme disease going to the Daytona 500 next weekend!

Yes, a piece of cake for now, for him.. Like you said I sure hope he remains well but at the same time it has made those around me more doubtful that I have lyme and not a psych case..

I doubt he will get tested thru Igenex unless someone alerts him to it.

I thought I read he had a LLMD? Somebody probably told him oh go to Mayo, there's got to be something else wrong.

"They say a month of abx and you're cured of lyme tick bite. You've been on them for several months now????? Go see the best in the country."

Just like Jack Osbourne. Too young and too much good life ahead to being lead down the MS road.

How much you want to bet, Mayo did another Western Blot and called it old infection and your sx are no longer lyme related?

So he's symptom free and we know this is lyme.

What is it making him symptom free?
