Do the moderators have any tips on figuring out who is trying to dig up info on LLMD's to single them out (like medical board) and who is truly seeking a LLMD?

Some are obvious like the ones that provide detailed info about their personal struggles but others are one sentence and very vague. Those are the ones that I have a hard time providing names for.

I know of a LLMD that was forced to stop treating Lyme a few years ago that just reopened his/her own practice. I don't want this LLMD to be singled out again by medical board but would also like to recommend them to those requesting LLMD in that area.

Not sure how to go about this.

We used to be more careful; I can tell you that!! I used to engage them in conversation first (thru PM) .. if I felt comfortable, I would help them. Still is not a sure-fire method though!

You'd be surprised how many NEVER replied.
