I thought this PCP was open to LD. That's why I started using him....now I have 2 new tick bites, pulled off my neckline Saturday. Called and his nurse talked to him and he said won't give ABX for preventative measures. If I start to have issues, come in for appointment.

After I start "issues" it's too late!!!!!
Now I'm in a fix. I'm taking cats claw....

suggestions?

I'm not sure I would rely on Cat's Claw as a top tier herb against lyme. I see it as excellent support.

Allicin, or Andrographis, however, are both "top tier" (IMO) and can cover many bases.

Colloidal Silver, perhaps.

Know anyone with a RIFE machine?

If your stomach lining can tolerate garlic, I'd eat 4-6 raw garlic cloves throughout the day, one or two at a time. Start in the middle of meal so the food is there to help digest it.

But, if your stomach lining is compromised, garlic can seriously burn. Be careful.

The beauty of Allicin & Garlic is that both can also help against the formation of biofilm.

Some say it may also against the cystic form of lyme.

Start salt/c protocol ASAP. Kills bacteria and parasites. Sea salt only...1/4tsp sea salt and 1/4tsp Ester c powder with bioflavinoids in a glass of water. Visit lymestrategies for more info on salt/c.

So glad to see Gael post. I just keep forgetting about that approach. And sure more affordable.

Came back to add GSE links.

For the Liquid - Drops. You may need to get a dropper LID with this. The photo does not show that. Be sure to ask first.

Go to the pet store and get fish antibiotics.

Or lie to your doctor... ( I hate that one! )

RMSF got the attention of our PCP. He didn't even wait for the lab results and tx my husband right away.

Hubby told the md he had been bitten, and began feeling sick, dizzy etc.

So maybe you could try that angle instead.

Do you have any acne? Know someone with acne?

I'd try to see a dermo or have someone you know with acne see a dermo and get doxy

thats what I did . altho I did have some acne issues so the doc had reason to write me it out for it.

Love these posts!!

Great ideas, all of them. I don't know why I didn't think about salt-c. I've done it before. I've just been so full of "information overload" lately with my horse missing for 10 days, dog disappearing last month and a personal issue in the home slamming me. I did get some Doxy, though.

You guys are great, and I think some of your suggestions rock!

Weird, but my teeth just started hurting and my left gland in my neck under my jaw is aching. What the...? I hope it's not a herx or mini herx. I pray those ticks weren't infected, darnit, why didn't I save them in a baggy & send to Igenex?!!
